★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 5,092 reviews · from $34Our pick

Join Captain Kevin and the Hornblower crew for a seven-hour family-run cruise from St. Paul’s Bay. You’ll see Malta’s cliffs, caves, and St. Paul’s Islands, stop at the Blue Lagoon for swimming, then spend three hours around Gozo. A €5 minibus transfer to Victoria, a snack bar, deck seating, and a 10-meter slide make this a lively day on the water.

“It was so much fun and a great way to see Gozo/Blue Lagoon. We didn’t get to swim in the crystal lagoon but this may have been due to time of year (April). However we stopped at the best location in the Blue Lagoon and slid, jumped and swam in those gorgeous waters! It was so much fun. Communication was clear and we enjoyed the free time we had in Gozo. I would recommend if you’re strapped for time and don’t want to navigate the transport systems!”

Blue Grotto & Sunday Market at Marsaxlokk Fishing Village

13.Blue Grotto & Sunday Market at Marsaxlokk Fishing Village

★★★★★★★★★★3.6 · 803 reviews · 4 hours · from $35

Visit Malta’s Blue Grotto and spend free time at Marsaxlokk’s Sunday Market on a guided coach tour with hotel pickup. Guides such as Mario, Maria, Mariela, and Mark have led past departures. The 20-minute grotto boat ride costs extra and depends on sea conditions. Expect about four hours of touring, plus pickup time.

“Driver and guide was lovely. But only 90 minutes at the market and time you walked down the hill and allowed time to get back to the coach it only really gave us a hour. To be fair this wasn’t really the tour’s fault and more due to one group of people at the first stop returning to the coach 25 mins late delaying our time at the market.”
