Travel from Fairbanks to Castner Glacier with an English-speaking guide such as Matthew or Owen, watching for caribou, moose, mountain views, and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. After gearing up with snowshoes or cleats, you’ll walk about 1.5 miles to a glacier-formed ice cave large enough to enter. The full trip lasts nine hours and includes transport, snacks, water, and gear.
